No, your eyes aren't deceiving you. A fair number of my pieces have been pulled (one by DA the rest voluntarily), due to what they claimed as "Underaged characters in sexual situations" (the DA pulled piece in question is a Potter character lifting the other's skirt and showing her panties).

I went through and pulled everything that could be remotely deemed "questionable", to those who had commissioned certain pieces, I'm sorry those pieces are no longer up. If you no longer have them in your possession, note me, and I'll send them back to you.

Right now, I'm pondering my future on DeviantArt, I understand the admins wanting to protect retarded people's kids, but the pic in question was completely harmless. Even I admit, there were much worse violations in the same collection, but apparently someone got butthurt over panties.

C'est la vie.

So yeah, kinda taking a break from open projects, and just doing commissions at the moment. I'm kinda burnt by the ideas floating around in my head, so I'm going to focus on other people's ideas.

I'm working on a fan comic idea that blends a bit of Celtic mythology with Harry Potter, and Luna Lovegood is half-fae. Just to make things a bit more visually interesting, we're thinking of breaking away from the canon movie uniforms and have three ideas prepared:

Uniform #1 (model: Luna Lovegood):

A black vest and skirt (slacks for boys) over a white button-front shirt. Long sleeves in the winter, short sleeves in the summer. Legwear for the girls and footwear for either gender would be up to the students (within reason), as witnessed by Luna's Chuck Taylors. This is the uniform my brother :iconalienyouthct: has adopted as of late for his stuff, and you can see another example of it in Alba an Aigh 2.

Uniform #2 (model: Ginny Weasley):

Pretty close to the one version of the movie uniform; basically stripping out the multiple variations that seem to indicate the costuming department was too cheap or lazy to order all at once and got stuck trying to fit different characters with material from different suppliers.

Uniform #3 (model: Morag MacDougall):

A bit more of an EGL look for the girls, while the guys would quite obvious be in black slacks instead of skirts. The top is similar to the first uniform except it's three layers rather than two: a white shirt, an (optional) black vest, and a black jacket. Basically, the the robes looked nice but are huge trip/fall hazards when running up and down stairs or across the grounds and largely disappear in the later movies. This gives the students a layering option that's just as easy to remove while keeping a more modern, business-like look.

Which of the three do you lot like best?

After several great ideas and a bit of debate, :iconalienyouthct: and I ended up going with Facet, as suggested by :iconherrenmedia:. Thank you, kind sir.

It also means we've got four of the five girls named:
Facet: Emma's daughter from a teenage pregnancy, possessing her mother's alpha level telepathic abilities and a faceted pink diamond transmorph form that's a bit more suitable for rough-n-tumble fun than her mother's is.
Wasp: Janet van Dyne, of course. A double PhD in molecular biology and genetics, her own powers are X-gene based as in Earth-1610 (Ultimate Universe) but she's always interested in furthering the knowledge about mutantkind. Can shrink, fly, and sting for now... but who knows what might be down the road for her?
Warbird: Carol Danvers. One of our more interesting reimaginings, Carol is a member of the ESU Air Force ROTC program. It is a bit strange that she wants to fly for the military, though, considering she can already fly faster than most jets that they field...
Vision: Shamelessly ripped from the Ultimate Universe, the team's first adventure will be a version of Ultimate Nightmare, culminating with the discovering of the female Vision. In this, she's just an alien robot rather than a harbinger of doom, so she joins the team instead of fleeing for safer harbors.

Where does the soliciting come in? For our fifth, currently designed but unnamed mutant. Well, she has a name. But Courtney isn't really a proper mutant name, is it? Her powers are both pyrokinesis AND cryokinesis. Fire and ice. She's actually bipolar, and her powers a complex balancing arc involving her mental state and medication balance... too manic and she shifts to pyro-only, too depressed and she's left cold on the inside. So obviously names reflecting only the fire or only the ice fall flat... and so are we. Anyone out there want to help me out?
